Fill in the Meta Tag “Keywords”. Keywords are the first task in organizing your on-page SEO. They are the single words that fit your business (not describe your business). Those words should appear frequently on your website with intent. The “intent” is long-tailed keyword / keyPhrase. Get it? Probably not yet.
Today‘ s SEO people (I like to call them the Yoasters) will quickly tell you Google no longer uses the Meta Tag “Keywords”. So is there still a need or use for Keywords in SEO?
BERT says “YES there is…”!!
Think about a keyphrase as being the answer; the answer to the questions people are asking in the search. Huh?
Let’s say I am searching “What is the Best Strawberry Jam”. The answer
What is a Good KeyPhrase?
“What is the Best Strawberry Jam?” “My Strawberry Jam is the Best…”
So let’s play SEO Jeopardy…!!
The Answer is “My Strawberry Jam”
Answer in the form of a question….
“What is the Best Strawberry Jam?”
